«Alconost» agency is a small company founded in 2004 by combined efforts of a group of independent translators that now form a close-knit team with the purpose of sharing experience and broadening the scope of provided services. Despite the company's young age, our experts have extensive experience of IT-related translations and copywriting.

«Alconost» sets forth the goal of satisfying the demand for «comprehensive services» of linguistic support of software development and promotion on the European market. Our main areas of expertise are: software localization (from Russian into English, from English into Russian, as well as from English and Russian into the German, Italian, Spanish and French languages), translations of web sites, license agreements, help files, documentation, advertising texts and materials, native proof-reading (English only), creation of press-releases, PAD descriptions, IT-related articles and software reviews.

The main difference between us and large and cumbersome translation bureaus of the conventional type is our narrow specialization (we know what we do) and precise positioning of our services (we know the peculiarities of this business and the needs of our clients). Being a small company, we can devote more time to our clients, communicate to them more often and solve their problems on the go.

At the same time, we work better than freelance translators, as they often lack sufficient knowledge and experience, may ignore your inquiries for weeks and disappear right after the release of the product.
